The summer is coming to a swift end, but a swarm of new venues, from music to five-star dining, have hit Boston. If you’re a New England resident or flying in for business or pleasure, here’s a hit list of places to go.

First up is Roadrunner, a 3,500-person music hall in the Brighton neighborhood. Opened in March, the venue has six bars, industrial design, and a 50,000-square-foot room with multilevel viewing and a 60-foot stage that’s already been graced by Olivia Rodrigo and Leon Bridges. Visitors to Boston should check out the fall schedule which already includes over 30 acts.

And that’s not the only new music venue in town. MGM Music Hall will be open this month in Fenway, the 5,000-person venue is designed to subtly mimic the famous ballpark right next door. James Taylor, Chris Stapleton, Bruno Mars, and Lil Nas X are already on the roster.

For a luxurious pre-show dinner, check out Contessa, which has recently opened atop the Newbury Hotel. Started by New York chef Mario Carbone, the restaurant serves Northern Italian cuisine alongside panoramic views.

If you’re looking for something even more unique, check out the Tall Ship, a part floating oyster bar part adult playground. This 245-foot vessel has a raw bar and sushi galore, and the land alongside it has lawn games, frozen adult beverages, and food stalls.
